All contestants must be RESIDENTS of the United States, born biologically female and meet the age requirements of 11 and up for their respective division. Miss contestants must be unmarried and without children. Ms. contestants have children and may be married or unmarried. Mrs. Division contestants must be legally married at time of competition. Elegant Ms. contestants may be married or single, but meet the age requirement.
The Miss National American pageant is scored by our panel of qualified judges. All judges' decisions are final and scores along with contestant feedback will be sent electronically to the contestant's email on file. **Actual scoresheets will not be mailed.
***Judges are not to be approached during or after the competition by contestants or fans to discuss scoring. Failure to follow this rule could lead to contestant disqualification.
Miss National American holds our contestants and crowned winners to the highest level of integrity. This includes behaviors during competition, social media presence, and interactions with contestants, families, staff and our community partners. If any contestant or their family/fans are deemed to behave in poor taste (per the discretion of our staff), this can impact final placements.
The overall HIGHEST score of a division shall be crowned the National Title Holder.
The Miss National American Pageant is a commitment. A commitment of state appointed titleholders to fulfill their state title and compete at the National pageant. If a contestant is crowned at Nationals, they commit to a one year contract of service representing Miss National American.
